أصدرت قيادة الجيش اللبناني – مديرية التوجيه، اليوم الثلاثاء، بيانًا رسميًا أعلنت فيه عن تنفيذ عملية أمنية نوعية أدت إلى تحرير قاصر سوري الجنسية كان قد تم اختطافه في بلدة حورتعلا التابعة لقضاء بعلبك، حيث طالب الخاطف بفدية مالية مقابل الإفراج عنه.
وجاء في البيان أن وحدة خاصة من الجيش، بالتعاون مع دورية من مديرية المخابرات، نفذت عملية دهم دقيقة استهدفت منزل الخاطف. وأسفرت العملية عن تحرير القاصر (م.ع.) بسلام من قبضة خاطفه.
وخلال المداهمة، تم توقيف زوجة الخاطف المدعوة (ا.ه)، كما تم ضبط مسدس حربي، ومبلغ مالي يُعتقد أنه مرتبط بعملية الخطف، بالإضافة إلى كمية من المواد المخدّرة التي كانت موجودة داخل المنزل.
وأكد البيان أن التحقيقات مستمرة بإشراف القضاء المختص، في حين تتابع الأجهزة الأمنية جهودها لتوقيف الشخص الرئيسي المتورط في هذه الجريمة.
تسلّط هذه العملية الأمنية الضوء على الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها المؤسسة العسكرية اللبنانية لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة، وخصوصًا جرائم الخطف مقابل فدية وتجارة الأسلحة والمخدرات، ما يعزز من دور الجيش في فرض الأمن والاستقرار في مناطق البقاع التي تشهد أحيانًا توترات أمنية.

In Hortaala – Baalbek: Lebanese Army Rescues Abducted Minor, Seizes Weapons and Drugs
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued an official statement today, Tuesday, announcing the success of a high-level security operation that resulted in the rescue of a kidnapped minor of Syrian nationality from the town of Hortaala, located in the Baalbek district.
According to the statement, the child (M.A.) was abducted by an individual who demanded a ransom in exchange for the child’s release. In response, a special army unit, supported by an intelligence patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, conducted a swift raid on the residence of the suspect.
The operation successfully led to the liberation of the kidnapped minor, who was found unharmed.
During the raid, the army also arrested the suspect’s wife (A.H.) and seized several items, including a pistol, a sum of money believed to be linked to the ransom demand, and a quantity of drugs stored at the location.
The Lebanese Army confirmed that investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary, while efforts continue to arrest the main suspect involved in the kidnapping.
