ما لبثت الأوضاع أن تصاعدت بشكل أكبر، حيث انتشرت صورة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لقاصر سوري من مدينة إدلب يبلغ من العمر 16 عامًا، تم الاعتداء عليه من قبل شباب من جبل محسن، مما أثار حالة من الغضب في أوساط المنطقة. الفتى السوري نُقل إلى المستشفى الحكومي للعلاج، ما دفع بعدد من الشبان في منطقة البقار إلى قطع الطريق المؤدية إلى جبل محسن.

المجلس الإسلامي العلوي: بيان يدعو للسلم الأهلي
وفي خطوة داعمة للسلم الأهلي، أصدر المجلس الإسلامي العلوي بيانًا حول الحادثة، أكد فيه أن “السلم الأهلي والاستقرار الأمني خط أحمر“، مشيرًا إلى أن أحمد البيطار، الذي يُشتبه بأنه المتورط في الحادثة، قد تجاوب مع الأجهزة الأمنية وقام بتسليم نفسه، مؤكدًا ثقته الكاملة في الأجهزة الأمنية لتوضيح ملابسات الحادث وكشف الحقيقة.
وتابع البيان: “طرابلس كانت وما زالت نموذجًا للانصهار الوطني، سداً منيعا في وجه الفتنة. حمى الله لبنان، حمى الله الجيش اللبناني، وعاشت طرابلس آمنة مستقرة.”

Things escalated quickly when a photo was circulated on social media showing a 16-year-old Syrian from Idlib who had been attacked by youths from Jabal Mohsen. The boy was rushed to the government hospital for treatment, sparking protests in the Baqar neighborhood. Local youths from Baqar cut off the road leading to Jabal Mohsen, and protests spread across the Qubbeh area, with protesters demanding the arrest of the perpetrators.
The situation deteriorated further when gunfire erupted between the two factions, causing panic among local residents. In response, the Lebanese Army intervened, establishing a security cordon and closing all roads leading to Jabal Mohsen, while initiating a search for those involved in the incident.

As the situation escalated, the Lebanese Army managed to restore relative calm after the perpetrator, identified as “A.B.” from Jabal Mohsen, turned himself in to the authorities.
