أوضح شمس الدين أن الأسر التي ترغب في تحضير إفطار رمضاني بسيط تحتاج إلى دخل يتجاوز 800 دولار خلال الشهر الكريم. أما محمد سلامة، أحد المواطنين، فقد أشار إلى أنه يحتاج إلى 5 ملايين ليرة لبنانية يوميًا لتغطية تكاليف الإفطار والحلويات، بالإضافة إلى استضافة بناته مع أزواجهن.
تحديات الطبخ في رمضان:

In an interview with “Al Arabiya”, Mohamed Shamali, a vegetable vendor from the Mella area of Beirut, stated that the cost of a basic fattoush plate has risen to around 800,000 Lebanese Pounds (approximately 10 USD), with basic ingredients like cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, radishes, parsley, mint, and thyme.
