الجيش اللبناني يوقف 86 سوريًّا ويضبط أسلحة في إطار مكافحة التهريب والجريمة
أصدرت قيادة الجيش – مديرية التوجيه، اليوم الأربعاء، بيانًا حول الإجراءات الأمنية التي نفذتها القوات المسلحة في مناطق مختلفة من لبنان. وأوضح البيان أن وحدات من الجيش اللبناني، بالتعاون مع دوريات من مديرية المخابرات، تمكنت من توقيف 89 شخصًا في عمليتين منفصلتين، حيث شملت العمليات توقيفات لعدد من الأشخاص المطلوبين لارتكابهم جرائم مختلفة.
توقيف السوريين الذين دخلوا خلسة: في منطقة دير عمار وشدرا شمال لبنان، تمكن الجيش من توقيف 86 شخصًا من الجنسية السورية بتهمة دخول الأراضي اللبنانية بشكل غير قانوني. هذه الحملة تأتي في إطار التدابير الأمنية المتواصلة التي تهدف إلى منع عمليات التسلل غير الشرعي وضبط الحدود اللبنانية.
توقيف المجرمين وضبط الأسلحة: كما شملت العملية توقيف ثلاثة مواطنين في بلدة مجدلون – بعلبك، بتهمة ارتكاب جرائم الخطف، الاتجار بالمخدرات، وإطلاق النار. وتمكن الجيش من ضبط سلاح حربي وذخائر بالإضافة إلى كمية من حشيشة الكيف كانت بحوزتهم، ما يعكس التزام الجيش المستمر بمحاربة الجرائم التي تهدد الأمن والاستقرار.
ضبط أسلحة وذخائر في عمليات مداهمة: وفي إطار مكافحة الاتجار بالأسلحة والمخدرات، أوقف الجيش أيضًا المواطن (ع.ع.) في منطقة الشويفات بسبب إطلاق النار، حيث تم ضبط سلاح حربي بحوزته. كما نفذت وحدات الجيش مداهمات لمنازل مطلوبين في منطقة بريتال – بعلبك، وتم ضبط كمية كبيرة من المخدرات والأسلحة والذخائر الحربية.
إجراءات التحقيق: تم تسليم جميع المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة، وتم بدء التحقيق مع الموقوفين تحت إشراف القضاء المختص. تأتي هذه الإجراءات في سياق التزام الجيش اللبناني بمكافحة الأنشطة غير القانونية والحفاظ على الأمن العام في البلاد.
Lebanese Army Arrests 86 Syrians and Seizes Weapons in Anti-Smuggling and Crime Operations
The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Guidance issued a statement today, Wednesday, regarding the security measures carried out by the military across various regions of Lebanon. The statement revealed that military units, assisted by Intelligence Directorate patrols, arrested 89 individuals in separate operations. The arrests involved people wanted for various criminal offenses.
Arrests of Syrians Entering Illegally: In the areas of Dier Ammar and Shedra in northern Lebanon, the army apprehended 86 Syrian nationals for entering Lebanon illegally. This operation is part of the ongoing security measures aimed at preventing illegal crossings and securing the Lebanese borders.
Criminals Arrested and Weapons Seized: The operation also resulted in the arrest of three Lebanese nationals in Majdaloun – Baalbek, who were charged with kidnapping, drug trafficking, and firing firearms. A military-grade weapon, ammunition, and a quantity of hashish were seized during the operation, reflecting the army's ongoing efforts to combat crimes threatening national security and stability.
Seizing Weapons and Ammunition in Raids: As part of its anti-arms trafficking and anti-narcotics operations, the army also arrested a citizen, identified as (A.A.), in Chouifat for firing a weapon. A military weapon was seized in his possession. The army conducted raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the Brital area of Baalbek and seized a significant amount of drugs, weapons, and ammunition.
Investigations Underway: All seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations with the arrested individuals have commenced under the supervision of the relevant judicial bodies. These operations are part of the army’s commitment to fighting illegal activities and maintaining public safety and security in Lebanon.
