أكد السفير الإيراني في لبنان، مجتبى أماني، في حديثه لوكالة “تسنيم” عبر التلفزيون الإيراني، أن إيران ترحب بتسيير رحلات جوية للخطوط اللبنانية، ولكن بشرط ألا يأتي ذلك على حساب الرحلات الإيرانية المنتظمة.

كشف أماني أن الحكومة اللبنانية قامت بإلغاء تصريحين لرحلتين جويتين منتظمتين من إيران إلى بيروت، كانتا تُنظمان أسبوعيًا يومي الخميس والجمعة. وأوضح أن السفارة الإيرانية في بيروت أجرت اتصالات مع الجهات الرسمية اللبنانية، التي وعدت بإعادة تشغيل الرحلات، إلا أن القرار أُلغي لاحقًا، مما أدى إلى تعطيل سفر العديد من الركاب اللبنانيين، خاصة قوافل الزوار العائدين من إيران.
اتهامات إسرائيلية وتأثيرها على القرار اللبناني
وأشار أماني إلى أن إلغاء الرحلات تزامن مع تصريحات المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي، الذي زعم أن الطائرتين كانتا تحملان بضائع غير قانونية. ونتيجة لذلك، طلبت الحكومة اللبنانية استبدال الطائرة الإيرانية بأخرى، مما أدى إلى تعقيد الملف وتأخير الرحلات.
وأكد السفير الإيراني أن طهران منفتحة على الطلبات اللبنانية، لكنها لن تقبل بوضع عوائق أمام الرحلات الإيرانية، مشيرًا إلى أن الجهود مستمرة لاستعادة الرحلات الجوية بين البلدين كما كانت في السابق.

أوضح أماني أن الرحلات الجوية الإيرانية ستُستأنف خلال الأسبوع الجاري والمقبل، لكنه لفت إلى أن إلغاء الرحلات بين طهران وبيروت أثار تساؤلات في الأوساط اللبنانية، خصوصًا بين مؤيدي حزب الله، الذين اعتقدوا أن الحكومة اللبنانية تسعى لمنع الإيرانيين من حضور مراسم تشييع السيد حسن نصرالله، ما أدى إلى موجة من الغضب.

Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amany, stated in an interview with Tasnim News Agency via Iranian television that Iran welcomes the resumption of Lebanese airline flights, provided that Iranian flights are not canceled in return.
Lebanese Government Cancels Regular Iranian Flights
Amany revealed that the Lebanese government canceled two regular weekly flights from Iran to Beirut, which were scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays. He added that the Iranian Embassy in Beirut contacted Lebanese authorities, who initially promised to reinstate the flights, but later revoked the decision, leading to disruptions for Lebanese passengers, particularly pilgrims returning from Iran.
Israeli Allegations and Their Impact on Lebanese Decisions
The Iranian ambassador pointed out that the cancellations coincided with statements from an Israeli military spokesperson, who falsely claimed that the two Iranian flights carried illegal shipments. Following this, the Lebanese government requested that Iran replace the aircraft with another, further complicating the issue and delaying flights.
Amany emphasized that Tehran is open to accommodating Lebanese requests but will not accept restrictions on Iranian air travel, reaffirming that efforts are underway to restore flight operations between the two countries.
Iranian Flights Resume Amid Speculation Over Political Motives
The ambassador confirmed that Iranian flights to Beirut will resume this week and next, but acknowledged that the flight cancellations had sparked controversy in Lebanon, especially among Hezbollah supporters, who speculated that the Lebanese government was preventing Iranian citizens from attending Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral, fueling public outrage.
Concluding his remarks, Amany expressed hope that the crisis would be resolved soon through wise decision-making by the Lebanese government, reiterating Iran’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Lebanon across various sectors.
