البعريني: تمثيل الطائفة السنية في الحكومة “مُختزل”.. وسنناقش حجب الثقة!
في ظل التعقيدات السياسية التي تواجه عملية تشكيل الحكومة اللبنانية، برزت أزمة التمثيل السني كمحور خلاف رئيسي، حيث أعرب عدد من النواب عن استيائهم من تجاهلهم في مشاورات التشكيل، معتبرين أن الرئيس المكلف نواف سلام يتعامل مع الملف الحكومي بمعايير مزدوجة.
وفي هذا السياق، أكد عضو تكتل “الإعتدال الوطني” النائب وليد البعريني، في حديث لـ”ليبانون ديبايت”، أن “التهميش الذي طال الطائفة السنية في هذه التشكيلة لم يحصل مع باقي الطوائف، ما يعكس نهجًا غير عادل في عملية التشكيل”.
تهميش الطائفة السنية في تشكيل الحكومة
وأشار البعريني إلى أن “العقدة الحالية لا تقتصر فقط على الطائفة السنية، فقد سبق أن ظهرت عقبات شيعية ومسيحية، لكن الفارق أن التشكيلة الحكومية تجاهلت بشكل واضح دور الكتل والنواب السنة”.
وأضاف: “نحن أمام واقع يتم فيه اختزال الطائفة السنية بفريق الرئيس المكلف، وهذا أمر غير مقبول، فكل الطوائف يجب أن تكون ممثلة بعدالة وتوازن، لا أن يتم تحجيم دور النواب المعنيين الذين يمثلون شرائح واسعة من المواطنين”.
خلافات داخل التكتل؟
ورداً على التساؤلات بشأن وجود اختلافات داخل تكتل “الإعتدال الوطني” حول التعاطي مع الحكومة، أوضح البعريني: “قد تكون هناك وجهات نظر متعددة داخل التكتل، وهذا طبيعي في أي كتلة سياسية، لكننا نناقش كل الأمور داخليًا، والحوار بيننا هو السبيل الوحيد لحل أي تباينات”.
لا تواصل مع الرئيس المكلف
وكشف البعريني أن الاتصالات مع الرئيس المكلف نواف سلام مقطوعة، مضيفًا: “لم نلمس أي تقدير لمواقفنا، ولم تكن هناك أي محاولات جادة للتواصل معنا بشكل فعّال، وكأن قرارات الرئيس المكلف بشأن التشكيلة الحكومية منزلة ولا تقبل النقاش”.
إمكانية حجب الثقة عن الحكومة
وعن إمكانية التصويت بحجب الثقة عن الحكومة في مجلس النواب، قال البعريني: “هذا الأمر سيتم مناقشته مع الزملاء النواب، لأننا ملتزمون بمسؤولياتنا تجاه الشعب والمؤسسات الدستورية، وإذا وجدنا أن الحكومة لا تعكس مصالح جميع اللبنانيين، فإن خيار حجب الثقة سيكون مطروحًا على الطاولة”.
Baareini: Sunni Representation in the Government is “Marginalized”… Withholding Confidence is an Option!
As Lebanon’s government formation process faces increasing complexities, the issue of Sunni representation has become a major point of contention. Several MPs have voiced their dissatisfaction over their exclusion from consultations, arguing that Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam is handling the formation with double standards.
In an interview with “Lebanon Debate,” MP Walid Baareini, a member of the National Moderation Bloc, emphasized that “the marginalization of the Sunni sect in this formation did not happen with other sects, reflecting an unfair approach in the government formation process.”
Marginalizing the Sunni Sect in Government Formation
Baareini pointed out that “this issue is not limited to the Sunni sect; similar obstacles have emerged with Shiite and Christian representation in the past. However, what differentiates the current crisis is the clear exclusion of Sunni MPs and blocs from the formation process.”
He added, “We are witnessing a situation where the Sunni sect is being reduced to the Prime Minister-designate’s team, which is completely unacceptable. Every sect should be fairly and proportionally represented, rather than sidelining MPs who represent large segments of the population.”
Disagreements Within the Bloc?
When asked about possible internal disagreements within the National Moderation Bloc, Baareini clarified, “Differences in opinion exist in every political group, and this is normal. However, we address these matters internally through constructive dialogue.”
No Communication With the Prime Minister-Designate
Baareini revealed that communication with Nawaf Salam is completely cut off, stating, “We have not seen any appreciation for our positions, nor has there been any serious attempt at meaningful dialogue with us. It’s as if the Prime Minister-designate’s decisions on the government formation are final and non-negotiable.”
Withholding Confidence in the Government?
On the possibility of withholding confidence in the new government, Baareini commented, “This will be discussed extensively with fellow MPs. We are committed to our responsibilities toward the people and state institutions. If we find that the government does not serve the interests of all Lebanese, then the option of withholding confidence will be seriously considered.”
