إضراب تحذيري ليومي الخميس والجمعة: روابط التعليم تهدد بالتصعيد في حال تجاهل مطالبها
تزامنًا مع استمرار الجهود لتشكيل حكومة جديدة بقيادة نواف سلام، وسط دعوات للإصلاحات الضرورية، أعلنت روابط التعليم الرسمي في لبنان (الثانوي، المهني، الأساسي) عن تنظيم إضراب تحذيري يومي الخميس والجمعة. يأتي ذلك كخطوة احتجاجية على تأخير دفع بدل الإنتاجية المتفق عليها مع وزير التربية في حكومة تصريف الأعمال، عباس الحلبي.
تصريحات روابط التعليم
وفي حديث خاص مع “ليبانون ديبايت”، أعرب رئيس رابطة معلمي التعليم الأساسي، حسين جواد، عن استيائه من تأخير دفع بدل الإنتاجية، واصفًا هذا التأخير بأنه “غير مقبول”، ومؤكدًا على أن “صرف المستحقات يجب أن يتم في موعد محدد وثابت”.
وأضاف جواد أن هذه المستحقات تعتبر حقًا مشروعًا للمعلمين، لا سيما في ظل غياب أي تصحيح حقيقي للرواتب منذ اندلاع الأزمة الاقتصادية في عام 2019.
المطالب والتهديد بالتصعيد
أوضح جواد أن القطاع التعليمي الرسمي بأكمله يترقب تشكيل حكومة جديدة قادرة على إعادة الاستقرار للمؤسسات الرسمية، مع ضرورة إقرار سلسلة رواتب جديدة تعيد للمعلمين قيمة رواتبهم المهدورة نتيجة التضخم.
وتابع بالقول إن “الإضراب التحذيري ليومي الخميس والجمعة سيكون خطوة أولى، حيث دعت الروابط جميع الأساتذة إلى تنظيم اعتصامات داخل المدارس والمعاهد الرسمية”. وأضاف: “في حال عدم الاستجابة لمطالبنا، فإننا لن نتردد في تصعيد خطواتنا الاحتجاجية”.
الوضع المعيشي للمعلمين
وأكد جواد أن أوضاع المعلمين المعيشية تدهورت بشكل كبير نتيجة الانهيار الاقتصادي، مشددًا على أهمية تلبية حقوقهم بشكل فوري لضمان استمرار العملية التعليمية في المدارس الرسمية.
Warning Strike Announced for Thursday and Friday: Teachers' Unions Threaten Escalation
As efforts to form a new government led by Nawaf Salam continue, with growing calls for reforms, Lebanon's official education unions (secondary, vocational, and primary) have declared a warning strike for Thursday and Friday. This strike is a response to delays in the payment of productivity allowances promised by caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Halabi.
Teachers' Union Statements
Speaking to “Lebanon Debate,” Hussein Jawad, President of the Primary Education Teachers’ Union, expressed frustration over the delay, describing it as “unacceptable.” He emphasized that “the payment of productivity allowances must be a sacred and fixed commitment.”
Jawad added that these allowances are a legitimate right for teachers, particularly in the absence of any salary adjustments since the onset of the economic crisis in 2019.
Demands and Escalation Threats
Jawad explained that the entire public education sector is awaiting the formation of a new government capable of restoring institutional stability and approving a new salary scale that restores the value of teachers’ incomes eroded by inflation.
He stated that the warning strike on Thursday and Friday would be a preliminary step, urging all teachers to participate in sit-ins within official schools and institutions. “If our demands are not met, we will not hesitate to escalate our actions further,” he warned.
Teachers' Living Conditions
Jawad highlighted the dire living conditions faced by teachers due to the economic collapse, emphasizing the urgent need to address their rights to ensure the continuity of the educational process in public schools.
