عقد رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نجيب ميقاتي، اليوم الخميس، اجتماعين تربويين في السراي الحكومي بحضور وزير التربية والتعليم العالي عباس الحلبي. الاجتماع الأول جمع اتحاد الجامعات الخاصة برئاسة الأب الدكتور سليم دكاش، وتمحور النقاش حول التحديات التي تواجه التعليم الجامعي في لبنان وسبل دعم الدولة للجامعات. في الاجتماع الثاني، التقى ميقاتي الهيئة التنفيذية لرابطة الأساتذة المتفرغين في الجامعة اللبنانية، برئاسة الدكتور بسام بدران، وتمت مناقشة استئناف الدروس في الجامعة.

أكد الوزير الحلبي أن الجامعة اللبنانية ستقوم بإجراء إحصاء شامل للنازحين من الطلاب والأساتذة والموظفين، وأن التعاميم اللازمة لعودة الدروس ستصدر في الأيام المقبلة، مطمئناً الطلاب والأساتذة. من جانبه، شدد الأب سليم دكاش على ضرورة الحفاظ على التعليم العالي في لبنان، مشيراً إلى الجهود التي تبذلها الجامعات لتقديم حلول بديلة مثل التعليم عن بعد. كما طالب دكاش بدعم الدولة للجامعات لضمان استمرار العام الدراسي رغم الظروف الصعبة.

Al-Halabi: Directives for Resuming Classes at the Lebanese University Will Be Issued

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati held two educational meetings today, Thursday, at the Grand Serail, attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education Abbas Al-Halabi. The first meeting included the Union of Private Universities, chaired by Father Dr. Salim Daccache, where discussions focused on the national challenges and the role of universities in Lebanon's critical phase. The second meeting involved the Executive Committee of the Lebanese University Faculty Association, headed by Dr. Bassam Badran, and focused on resuming classes at the Lebanese University.
