وظائف شاغرة لدى منظمة MSD: مطلوب محامي/ة بدوام جزئي (Part-time Lawyer)

Main Tasks:

• Provide legal counseling and assistance for women and girls at risk and survivors of GBV from the migrant, the refugee, and the host community;
• Develop a legal file;
• Ensuring legal counseling, legal lawsuits as well as different kind of investigations before the general security and other police office station for migrant workers and refugees;
• Sending monthly reports to the social worker and the program coordinator;
• Send daily/ weekly feedback and updates about cases;
• Complete the database;
• Coordinate with the team, social workers;
• Conduct visits to courts, embassies, general security…
• Based in the main office with frequent visits to the community centers;
• Ability to join immediately;
• Other related tasks as required by the management;

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Registered at the beirut bar association
• Human rights experience
• Previous experience dealing with public administration, ISF, general security, court, and special tribunal for labor cases
• Bachelor’s degree in law
• 3+ years relevant admitted attorney working experience
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in both English and Arabic
• S/he must be fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English
• Adherence to the mission and vision of MSD
• Reflect the vision and values of MSD and its partners with team members, local staff, beneficiaries, and external contacts
