DESCRIPTION: 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 Design and deliver engaging and effective literacy and
English language lessons tailored for adult learners
with varying skill levels.
 Develop a curriculum that incorporates basic reading,
writing, listening, and speaking skills.
 Utilize various teaching methodologies to cater to
different learning styles and ensure accessibility for all
participants.
 Foster a supportive and encouraging learning
environment where women feel comfortable
participating and making mistakes.
 Integrate practical applications of literacy and English
language skills into the curriculum, focusing on everyday communication and real-world scenarios.
 Track student progress and provide constructive
feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
 Evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching methods
and curriculum, and suggest improvements.
 Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
that celebrates cultural
 Collaborate effectively with other EMBRACE program
staff.

Measurability (KPIs):

– Student Learning:
– Pre and post-program assessments to evaluate literacy and English
language skills.
– Student self-evaluations on their confidence and progress in reading,
writing, listening, and speaking English.
– Completion of practical tasks and assignments that demonstrate
acquired literacy and English language skills.
– Program Impact:
– Number of women completing the literacy and English language
program.
– Participant feedback on the program's delivery and effectiveness in improving their
literacy and communication skills.
– Increased participation of women in community activities or pursuit of
further education/employment opportunities after program completion.
– Teacher Performance:
– Teacher self-evaluations on program delivery and effectiveness.
– Observations of teacher-student interactions and teaching methods.
– Feedback from students on the teacher's knowledge, communication
skills, and ability to create a supportive learning environment.
