وظائف شاغرة لدى منظمة أطباء بلا حدود: مطلوب مشرفين/ت في مجال ادخال البيانات الطبية (SUPERVISOR MEDICAL DATA ENTRY)

Accountabilities

• Supervise, organise and plan the activity of Data Entry officers to have a reliable record of medical activity performed, as well as identify their training/technical support needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected.
• Ensure collation and entry of all data identified by project managers for collection (e.g. morbidity, mortality, surveillance of diseases of epidemics, nutrition, psychological and women’s health, etc) into the appropriate data management system while ensuring quality of data
• Do quality control data officers’ performance on regular basis
• Know and ensure proper use of software used for recording.
• Ensure accuracy of the medical data entered into the mission’s database on a regular basis, according to MSF protocols and carry out regular back-ups.
• Provide technical support to data entry officers/operators in project sites and give response to their training needs.
• Provide regular statistical reports for the medical team as well as informing the superior of any missing information, major changes or big differences in data

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

• Supervise the implementation of the  data system adapted to the new Beirut project and follow up the transition and merging closely with all the departments
• Help identify gaps in the system and communicate it promptly to the mission Epidemiologist and IT developer. Ensure the implementation of adequate recommended adjustments
• With the support from the IT developer, provide training on the use of database system and the data collection tools
• Coordinate with the supervisors, managers and technical referents on all files and any data system adjustments
• With the support of the mission Epidemiologist, provide data for regular reporting or any ad hoc requirements of the project
• Oversee data collection processes of the project, ensure  data collection activities are carried out effectively and according to established protocols.This involves monitoring data collection tools, coordinating with data encoders and addressing any issues or challenges that arise in the new data system to be implemented in the project
• Implement data quality control measures in close collaboration with the IT developer and mission Epidemiologist
• Supporte the team to implement appropriate protocols for data backup, security and confidentiality
• Maintain data privacy practices in accordance with MSF regulation and standards for data protection and medical confidentiality
• Perform any additional task in relation to Data management/ implemnetation as requested by the Line manager

Requirements

Education: Essential bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, IT, statistics, management information system, public health or any other relevant degree

Experience: 

• Essential at least 2 years of working experience in data management field
• Desirable working experience of at least one year with MSF , other medical humanitarian organization or in health care facility.
• Desirable experience in people management, training and mentoring.

Languages: Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.

Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong understanding of medical statistics databases.
