Ruwad alHoukouk focus on the prevention and reduction of statelessness; the right to seek asylum; the right to legal protection and access to basic and fundamental rights for All. Today, its main strategic priorities is the right to legal identity; access to basic rights, legal protection for all; community based protection & development. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Program Development Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and success of innovative programs that positively impact our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote Ruwad alHoukouk and its initiatives.
– Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other key stakeholders.
– Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials.
– Coordinate and manage media events, press conferences, and interviews.
– Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for internal and external use.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
– Manage social media accounts and engage with online communities to enhance [NGO Name]'s visibility.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Public Relations & Communications.
– Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or a related role.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Experienced in reporting, and monitoring and evaluation.
– Knowledge of human rights principles and standards.
– Proficient in the use of computers and relevant applications for data analysis, program modelling, and document management.
– Commitment to Ruwad alHoukouk's mission and values.
– Availability to join 2nd January 2024.
