The consultant will develop different courses and then deliver them for our team (including board members, staff and volunteers), that takes into account real needs and risks.
It should also be designed to be very practical for our team – taking into account their specific l risks, prior knowledge and should result in practical security and contingency plans that they can immediately implement.
The work includes, but is not limited to:
- Creation of sessions, they will also take into account the security needs of each group/beneficiary, which may be different;
- Development of training curricula, presentations and additional materials, considering free and secure online and digital resources;
- Delivery of training sessions to a total of 20 TOT of participants (total of 3 trainings);
- Individual or group follow-up sessions on safety plans and other needs for a period of 12 months approx;
- Quarterly reporting (if applicable) of safety activities/deliverables;
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of the curriculum, and modification of material based on feedback and lessons learned;
- Support the project team to respond to possible physical and digital security incidents of the beneficiaries;

Qualifications, Knowledges, Skills & Requirements
- Experience in on site workshop design (desired);
- Ability to incorporate gender and inclusive perspectives in the design of workshops;
- Ability to resolve conflicts and mediation;
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work and adapt to various cultures;
- Languages: Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English;
- Ability to work in a context with connectivity problems.
Eligible applicants
This assignment will require a consultant with the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
- At least 5 years professional experience in similar position;
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops on physical security for the groups of CSO and social movements knowledge on the following topics:
- – Assessment of the context and risks;
- – Detection of vulnerabilities (personal and organizational);
- – Physical security protocols for CSO and social movements;
- – Holistic security;
- – Scenarios and possible situations;
- – Gender-sensitive security;
