AMEL is looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Primary Healthcare Center's dynamic medical team in Achrafieh. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our patient-centered approach to healthcare by performing a variety of laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment by providing timely and reliable laboratory results.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Sample Collection and Preparation:
- Collect and process various specimens, such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, according to established protocols.
- Label and record specimens accurately, maintaining proper documentation of sample origin and patient information.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of specimens to maintain sample integrity.
2. Laboratory Testing and Analysis:
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including but not limited to hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and tools to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Follow standardized procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines while conducting tests and analysis.
- Evaluate test results, identify abnormal findings, and notify relevant healthcare professionals when necessary.
3. Data Management and Documentation:
- Record and document test results accurately
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of tests performed, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Participate in quality control testing to validate the accuracy and precision of laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or deviations from established protocols.
- Adhere to quality assurance protocols and help maintain laboratory standards.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other staff in the PHCC to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnosis.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, patients, and external parties.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of laboratory procedures, results, and potential implications to patients and healthcare providers.

EDUCATION DEGREE DETAILS:
- LT of BS in Medical Lab technology
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory protocols.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control practices within a medical laboratory setting.
