Responsibilities:

– Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.

– Transport goods, equipment, and/or passengers to and from specified destinations in a timely and safe manner.

– Load and unload goods or equipment as required.

– Plan routes and follow schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.

– Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.

– Perform regular vehicle inspections and ensure routine maintenance is carried out.

– Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and dispatchers regarding any delays, accidents, or any other incidents during transportation.

– Handle necessary documentation such as delivery notes, logbooks, and fuel receipts accurately and submit them according to company procedures.

– Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

– Follow company policies and procedures concerning on-road safety and conduct.

Requirements:

– Valid driver's license issued by the relevant authority.

– Proven work experience as a Driver or a similar role.

– Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.

– Knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and geography of the area.

– Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
