وظيفة شاغرة للعمل لدى منظمة درب الجبل اللبناني: مطلوب منسق لوسائل التواصل الإجتماعي (Social media and media coordinator)
The Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA) www.lebanontrail.org is looking for a social media and media coordinator to complete the following tasks:
- Work on the development and finalization of social media and media strategy;
- Manage social media content by:
- Developing and implementing a social media strategy,
- Developing bi-weekly calendars of content,
- Drafting content and gathering information and content from relevant team members, community members, and beyond;
- Maximize reach and engagement through adequate promotion and boosting plans.
- Nurture and develop partnerships with online platforms, content creators, and influencers;
- Coordinate LMT’s presence on alternative digital platforms;
- Conduct field trips to project/program activities, visits to the local community, and secure coverage during major events such as the fall trek and thru-hikes to add value to the content;
- Develop and manage a multimedia library including photos and videos useful for communication purposes;
- Develop media plans to secure TV/radio/press interviews and other appearances for the LMTA management and board members;
- Handle media relations, drafting press releases when needed, and answering any media requests after liaising with relevant team/management;
The ideal candidate should be dynamic, self-driven, passionate about nature and the outdoors, and motivated to spend time on the trail, immersing with and getting content from local communities.
The Social Media and Media Coordinator will work under the Executive Director’s supervision and closely with the Board’s Communication Committee.

Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital communication, marketing, or advertising-related fields.
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in managing at least 5 social media accounts in the past 3 years;
- Knowledge of the Lebanon / international media landscape and ability to maximize the LMTA’s visibility on various platforms;
- Proven experience in media planning and media relations;
- Understanding of social media community management and audience/reach optimization;
- Outstanding team spirit and capacity to work and liaise with different team members from various departments;
- Self-motivated, self-organized, and able to manage own time and tasks, reporting to relevant team members and management at all times;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication and presentation skills (English and Arabic, French is a plus).
